Event Participation Guidelines

Fielse's live events; including webinars, Zoom sessions, workshops, and other online gatherings are an important part of our interactive learning experience and community. To ensure a productive and respectful environment for all participants, the following rules apply to every event.

Event Conduct

1. Arrive on Time Please be ready before the event start time. Late arrivals disrupt the flow for both the instructor and other participants.

2. Camera and Microphone Use Camera use may be required in certain sessions — please be prepared for this. Keep your microphone muted unless you have been given the floor by the instructor.

3. Speaking and Chat Etiquette Raise your hand or follow the instructor's guidance before speaking. The chat function must not be used for spam, excessive emojis, or off-topic conversations.

4. Respectful Communication Maintain a respectful tone toward all participants, instructors, and moderators at all times. Disagreements must be expressed constructively and civilly.

5. No Recording or Sharing Recording any part of an event — whether audio, video, or written — and sharing it without explicit written permission from Fielse is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in legal action.

6. No Promotion or Advertising Promoting your own services, products, or social media accounts during an event is not permitted.

7. Professional Behaviour Our events are professional learning environments. Disruptive, trolling, or otherwise unprofessional behaviour will not be tolerated.

Community Standards

1. Be Respectful Treat all participants, instructors, and moderators with respect. Express differing opinions in a civil manner.

2. No Offensive Language Profanity, insults, mockery, and any form of demeaning or aggressive language are strictly prohibited.

3. No Discrimination Discriminatory remarks or behaviour based on gender, language, religion, race, age, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

4. No Political Discussion Political commentary, debate, or propaganda of any kind is not permitted during events.

5. No Disruptive Behaviour Intentionally disrupting the event through your microphone, camera, or the chat function is not allowed.

6. Safety for All Zero tolerance is applied to harassment, threats, manipulation, or the sharing of other participants' personal information.

7. Immediate Removal Participants who violate these guidelines will be removed from the event without warning and may be permanently banned from the platform.

Enforcement

Anyone found to be in breach of these guidelines will be removed from the event immediately and without notice. Depending on the severity of the violation, permanent suspension from the Fielse platform may follow.
